The Engineering Division provides technical support and guidance to the organization, department and community on infrastructure services. The division plans, designs, manages, and monitors all public and private infrastructure improvement projects. Ongoing support activities include master facility planning, development proposal review, land surveying, design standards, construction standards and specifications, public outreach and neighborhood meetings.
Staff provides information, recommendations and services to construct, preserve and improve the City's infrastructure. Staff offers continuous technical assistance to ensure public improvements are cost effective and consistent with City Standards.

Banner Hanging Permit - This form is to request a date for hanging of a banner located on Island Avenue/Spruce Street between Adams and Washington Avenues.
Blading Petition - This is information for blading of an alley and a blank petition for the required signatures. Please contact the Engineering Division for assistance on the petition.
City of La Grande Sidewalk Standards - These are drawings for new or replacement sidewalk construction.
Contractor Right-of-Way Permit- This form is required for all licensed Contractors performing any work in the City of La Grande Right-of-Ways.
Non-Contractor Right-of-Way Permit - This form is required for all Non-Contractors performing any work within the City of La Grande Right-of-Ways.
Courtesy Parking Permit Application - This form is for contractors or business owners needing to perform work in a restricted parking area that will take more than two (2) hours.
Sewer and Water Utility Request Form - This form is to request installation or replacement cost of new water and sewer services.
