Summer Swimming Lesson Program

We are pleased to offer our progressive swimming classes for youth 4 years and older. Our well-trained staff is dedicated to ensuring an enjoyable learning experience for your child. Our program is based on the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Program.

Swimming Lessons (Youth ages 4 years and up)

Fees

La Grande Residents: $38.00     Non-Residents: $43.00    (FOUR PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO OFFER THE CLASS)

MORNING: Classes taught Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

EVENING: Classes taught Monday through Thursday between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Each session consists of (8) 30 minute classes taking place on the dates listed below.

Session 1:     June 3 - 13       Session 2:    June 17 - 27           Session 3:     July 1 - 11  

Session 4:     July 15 - 25      Session 5:     July 29 - August 8      Session 6:    August 12 - 22  

Register for session 1 or 2 starting May 1st, register for session 3 or 4 starting June 1st, and register for session 5 or 6 starting July 1st. You can only register for 1 session at a time, the first week into the lesson ask instructor if your child will advance to the next class at this time then register your check for the next session for the swim level needed.

IF OUR LESSON NEED TO BE CANCELLED DO TO THUNDER AND LIGHTNING,  THE MAKE UP DATE IS ON THAT FRIDAY.

PRIVATE SWIMMING LESSONS ALSO AVAILABLE DURING THE DATES LISTED ABOVE,  FEES FOR PRIVATE LESSONS ARE LA GRANDE RESIDENT: $120.00 AND NON-RESIDENT: $140.00 CALL POOL AT 541-962-1347 FOR OPENINGS.

Water Babies Class (Ages 6 months through 3 years)

Learning to swim starts with orientation and adjustment to the water. These skills are introduced with the aid of a parent or guardian: blowing bubbles, kicking,entering & exiting the pool, jumping, submersion, arm movement, back float and bobbing. This is a great program to introduce the little ones to the water. 

Fee (Includes 1 child and 1 adult supervisor)

La Grande Residents: $38.00     Non-Residents: $43.00

Classes take place Monday through Thursday form 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Swim diapers with snug fitting plastic pants required.
